Taking Care of Oregon Together
Community Cleanup and Recycling Event Series
Hosted by SOLVE in partnership with the Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative, each event in the statewide series is a chance to help make Oregon a little cleaner and greener!
Join us for a litter cleanup event where we’ll beautify the neighborhood by removing trash and recycling bottles and cans found during the effort (to benefit SOLVE!). Volunteers are encouraged to take home one (or more!) of SOLVE’s specially tagged Blue Bags to fill with their redeemable beverage containers. Once the bag is full, it can be returned to any BottleDrop bag drop location. We’ll recycle the containers inside the bag and SOLVE will receive the refund value to help further their mission.

SOLVE and BottleDrop Give
SOLVE’s partnership with BottleDrop Give highlights a shared commitment to sustainability and community well-being. Through BottleDrop’s Blue Bag program, SOLVE ensures that all beverage containers collected during their community cleanup events are redeemed for their refund value. These funds directly benefit SOLVE, supporting their mission to protect and preserve Oregon’s natural spaces. By turning redeemable waste into impactful funding, this collaboration exemplifies how small actions—like recycling beverage containers—can drive big changes for environmental stewardship and community engagement.
