A new way to make the most of your returns.

BottleDrop has partnered with the Oregon College Savings Plan to make it easy for you to turn your bottle and can returns into a plan for the future. You can save for yourself, get your kids started, or make a gift to a friend, your grandkids, or anyone with a qualifying plan. All you need is a BottleDrop account and an Oregon College Savings Plan account to start saving.

On a sunny day, 5 year old and 9 year old siblings are working together to collect bottles and cans and pour them from a grocery bag into a BottleDrop Green Bag.

Meet the Branams

Ceci, 9, and Eli, 5, are siblings who started collecting bottles and cans from their family’s friends and neighbors to help jump start their savings for college by connecting their BottleDrop account with their Oregon College Savings Plan accounts. Their dad, John, says the experience has been invaluable. “One thing that is really important to our family is building community. All the neighbors participating are delighted by the idea that our children are practicing small examples of work ethic at young ages and that they’re starting to think about college. It builds a sense of community – the ‘it takes a village’ spirit.”
