In partnership with retailers in the Delta Park area of North Portland, BottleDrop is expanding the number of Green and Blue Bag drop sites. The new retail bag drop sites will open to customers as the Redemption Center approaches its final day of service. Read on to learn more about how to create a BottleDrop account and get started with Green Bags!

Where Can I Redeem Beverage Containers After the Closure of Delta Park?
Containers can be redeemed at the following locations:
- BottleDrop Redemption Centers
- Retailer BottleDrop Bag Drop Locations
- Non-BottleDrop Retail Locations

Types of BottleDrop Redemption Sites
BottleDrop Redemption Centers
Services available at BottleDrop Redemption Centers include:
- Drop off Green and Blue Bags.
- Purchase Green Bags.
- Pick up Blue Bags.
- Get a new/replacement account card.
- Use a kiosk and Pay Station to withdraw funds from your BottleDrop account.
- Return up to 350 eligible beverage containers per person, per day using:
- Stream Count AI (where available) or
- Self-serve reverse vending machines.
- Request a hand count of up to 50 eligible beverage containers per person, per day at the BottleDrop Customer Service counter.

Retailer BottleDrop Bag Drop Locations
New bag drop locations will be added in the North Portland area in the coming months. We will list those locations and the estimated opening date here.
Services available at retailer bag drop locations include:
- Drop off Green or Blue Bags.
- Sign up for a new BottleDrop account.
- Purchase Green Bags.
- Use the BottleDrop kiosk to print a voucher for your BottleDrop account funds and redeem for cash at the checkout counter.
- Withdraw your BottleDrop account funds and print a BottleDrop PLUS store credit voucher worth 20% more at participating retailers.

Redeeming Containers at Non-BottleDrop Retail Locations
Retail stores that are not part of the BottleDrop Network and are outside a convenience zone must redeem eligible beverage containers.
- Stores over 5,000 square feet must redeem 144 containers per person, per day.
- Stores under 5,000 square feet must redeem 50 containers per person, per day.

- Visit a kiosk at any BottleDrop Redemption Center, Partner Retailer or Express Site. Use our Location Finder to find a kiosk near you.
No. The Green Bag program is a premium service offered to Oregon residents to return beverage containers purchased within Oregon.
No. All containers presented for a refund at any location in Oregon must have a refund value as defined by ORS 459A.705. Knowingly returning containers without an Oregon refund value (including containers purchased or acquired outside Oregon) may result in a $250 fine per violation under ORS 459.992. OBRC reserves the right to request proof of purchase or refuse containers if there is reasonable suspicion that the containers were not purchased in Oregon.
