Set Up Automatic Contributions
How do I connect an Oregon College Savings Plan (OCSP) account with a BottleDrop account to make automatic contributions?
- Log in to your BottleDrop account.
- From your BottleDrop account dashboard, click “Oregon College Savings Plan” on the left side of your screen (desktop) or below Quarterly Bag Limits (mobile).
- Select “Connect and Manage Accounts.”
- Click “Add New Recipient.”
- Enter your OCSP account details, including the account number (starts with ‘OS’ followed by 10–11 digits) and save your changes.
- Note: To find your account number, log in to your OCSP account, click on the beneficiary (if you have more than one), go to “Settings” in the upper right, select “Account Information,” then click *show* next to “Account Number.”
Keep in mind, you can connect more than one BottleDrop account to an OCSP account, so many friends and family can regularly donate their can and bottle deposits to your kid’s account.
If you wish to do a one-time transfer of a different amount, you can do so by selecting the “Transfer” button next to “One Time Transfer,” after you have connected your accounts.

It’s simple. BottleDrop has partnered with the state of Oregon to offer a secure connection to Oregon College Savings Plan (OCSP) accounts. When you initiate a transfer from your BottleDrop account (manual or automatic), we securely transfer the funds to your designated OCSP account. The minimum transfer is $5, and a recurring transfer will not be initiated if your BottleDrop account does not have sufficient funds.
On the 26th of each month, BottleDrop will initiate all transfers from the 26th of the previous month, and funds will be withdrawn from your BottleDrop account for recurring transfers. Allow approximately four weeks for the funds to appear in your Oregon College Saving Plan account.
No. The partnership is only active between BottleDrop and the Oregon College Savings Plan.
