Sunshine Shines

Mission: Sunshine Shines Bright works to decrease barriers to learning and increase family stability in Early Childhood Education. Vision: Our vision is that every family in our program has the basic needs necessary to support the growth and healthy development of their young children. Meeting families where they are at, providing direct support, or community connections. We empower our communities with parent education, health services, housing stability, and advocacy for social emotional learning and inclusivity. We do this by providing a weekly food pantry, clothing closet, diaper bank and direct support for bills like rent and utilities. Last year $20,000 went directly to pay rent and utilities for families with very young children in Milwaukie, OR!
