1st Presbyterian Church of Phoenix, Oregon, is the host for the Phoenix Food Pantry, the Phoenix Community Kitchen, Phoenix Food Project and many groups including AA, NA, Phoenix Boy Scout Troop, HeadStart Classes and more.
We offer safe and sober housing to individuals and families in Klamath County. We also offer one on one peer support mentoring services as well as weekly peer support activities to the local community.
ACCESS provides food, warmth, shelter, and other essential services to Jackson County’s low-income children, families, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. As the Community Action Agency of Jackson County, Oregon, ACCESS has been helping residents break the cycle of poverty since 1976. Last year, 52,497 people received assistance from ACCESS’s broad continuum of services, including obtaining safe, affordable housing, rental assistance, utility assistance, weatherization, free loaned durable medical equipment and healthy food. 92% of all donations go toward those we serve in Jackson County via one of our 15 programs, only 8% is taken for overhead.
Through our ReStore and other community donations, Albany Area Habitat for Humanity builds homes for families in need in Albany. Volunteers work side by side with the future homeowners because everyone deserves a place to call home.
