1st Phoenix Community Center

1st Phoenix Community Center of Phoenix, Oregon, is the host for the Phoenix Food Pantry, the Phoenix Community Kitchen, Free Clothing Closet, Phoenix Food Project Green Bag donations. Many groups including AA, NA, Phoenix Garden Club and Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors use the facility also.

Access

ACCESS provides food, warmth, shelter, and other essential services to Jackson County’s low-income children, families, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. As the Community Action Agency of Jackson County, Oregon, ACCESS has been helping residents break the cycle of poverty since 1976. Last year, 52,497 people received assistance from ACCESS’s broad continuum of services, including obtaining safe, affordable housing, rental assistance, utility assistance, weatherization, free loaned durable medical equipment and healthy food. 92% of all donations go toward those we serve in Jackson County via one of our 15 programs, only 8% is taken for overhead.
