The TCS's mission is to promote the humane treatment of cats and kittens in Lane County. In addition to a physical sanctuary, this will be achieved through community programs that focus on education, advocacy, services, and fostering collaboration among rescue groups and individuals in Lane County, Oregon, with occasional partnerships with an organization located in Bend, OR. We have a small sanctuary slightly West of Eugene where cats are lovingly cared for according to individual needs: Some are feral and live around the property, some are aging, some are babies, and some will be adopted to loving and caring homes. These cats can take a month to several years to prepare for a new life; some never do and stay forever.
Our mission is to provide assistance to the people and pets who are truly in need within our community, with the goal of fulfilling an immediate need for food, clothing and other essential items to those who have been unable to receive assistance thru conventional agencies.
