We are Waggin' Tails Search and Rescue, a local nonprofit dedicated to reuniting lost and missing dogs with their families, and safely containing strays. We are passionate about animals and believe they all deserve a chance!
Volunteer organization that reports to the Washington County Sheriff. We volunteer time to participate with our horses in representing the Sheriff in County Parades, Fairs, National Night Out, Aloha Tree Lighting. We also provide animal search, rescue, and evacuation, i.e. for the recent fires.
We recognize that the love and companionship of an animal can help the mental well being and quality of life for someone with mental issues. We do our part in Supporting Veterans with PTSD or BTI. We train Therapy dogs and take them to facilities where they can visit those in need of a little compassion from a four legged friend.
We help in supporting Veterans with basic needs by helping giving a hand up where needed, not a hand out.
