Breast Friends is a local non profit providing emotional support to women who are faced with a cancer diagnosis. Our mission is to ensure that no woman goes through cancer alone. Since 2000, we have been supporting women no matter what stage of the journey they are on. We offer a variety of programs from peer to peer support, support groups, workshops, retreats, weekly educational radio show, bald is beautiful photography session, free wigs and prosthesis, and a walk and talk group.
CARES Northwest is a collaborative, community-based medical program for the assessment, treatment and prevention of child abuse. We provide a safe, child-friendly environment for the assessment of children for whom there are concerns of physical or sexual abuse, neglect and exposure to domestic violence. Physical examinations and interviews are conducted in a comfortable environment to help children feel safe.
