The Mission of the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center is to provide high quality, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate primary health care to the communities of Washington and Yamhill counties with a special emphasis on migrant and seasonal farm workers and others with barriers to receiving health care.
Vital Life Foundation's mission is to support organizations and programs that provide meaning and vitality in the lives of seniors and staff members living and working in senior care.
Volunteers in Medicine Clinic of the Cascades (VIM Cascades) provides compassionate, comprehensive healthcare to low-income, working adults in Central Oregon who have no health insurance or means to pay for care. Through the support of skilled volunteer providers, in-clinic staff, and local pro-bono medical partners, our patients receive primary and specialty medical care, prescription medications, basic dental services, and mental health counseling, all at no cost.
Since opening our doors in 2004, VIM Cascades has provided more than $212 million in care to over 16,000 of our neighbors. Our volunteer-driven model ensures that working community members—such as restaurant, hospitality, housekeeping, landscaping, and agricultural employees—have access to the care they need, keeping our communities strong and healthy.
You can make a difference for these hardworking individuals simply by donating your BottleDrop Blue Bags to VIM Cascades. Every bag turned in helps fund essential patient care—from medications and lab services to dental visits and medical checkups. Together, small actions create big impact, helping local workers stay healthy, supported, and able to keep Central Oregon thriving.
