Friends of Portland NET – Multnomah Team

The Multnomah Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) is a volunteer group trained by the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management to provide emergency services to residents when professional first responders are overwhelmed and unavailable. We help neighbors create Community Preparedness Pods, in which neighbors are prepared to help each other in the event of an emergency, regardless of whether it's large or small.

Friends of the Children-Central Oregon

Friends of the Children - Central Oregon is a chapter of a national non-profit that is breaking the cycle of generational poverty by giving children born into disparities the ability to create a new story. We do this by providing the most vulnerable children with a long-term, salaried, professional mentor, who we call a "Friend," from kindergarten through high school graduation, 12-1/2 years - no matter what!
