Garden Home Community Library Association (GHCLA) was established in 1983 to support Garden Home Community Library, a small neighborhood public library in unincorporated Washington County. Beginning in July 2025, the organization expanded to include support for operations of West Slope Community Library. Garden Home & West Slope Community Libraries are members of and receive operational funds from Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS), and rely on donations from the community for additional support. Garten Services, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides vocational, day activity and retirement services for people with developmental disabilities and long-term mental illness. The mission of Garten Services is to support people with disabilities in their effort to contribute to the community through employment, career, and retirement opportunities.
