Albany Youth Orchestra provides orchestra and group piano classes for 3rd-12th graders at Albany public schools and our AYO Music Center in Albany. Funds raised go to scholarships for lower-income students, provide rental instruments for our students, and supports music programs and events that reach the larger community in the mid-Willamette Valley. Our aim is to build a deeply connected community through youth music education to provide lifelong habits and tools to navigate the ups and downs of life.
Manages the Millicoma Marsh Trail, an educational and recreational interpretive site in the Eastside district of Coos Bay next to Millicoma School and Eastside Elementary.
