Rogue River Institute

It is my pleasure to introduce you to The Rogue River Institute. We are a non-profit organization that funds, organizes, and carries out an annual river trip for physically and developmentally disabled people and their supporter. This weekend-long camping and rafting excursion was born in 1978 and has continued almost every summer. This event has brought joy to numerous lives for nearly 40 years. Many attendees have few interactions with nature or an opportunity for adventure, and a weekend on the Rogue River provides plenty. This event is an outlet for growth, development, and incredible joy for everyone, especially the community volunteers. Our annual river experience is completely supported by donations and local volunteers. The entire weekend is free to the 100+ participants, and includes all meals, transportation, experienced river guides, rafting gear, and the campground rental. To make this event possible, we need your help.
