Our club is one of many 4-H clubs with kids 6-18 who focus on raising lamb, sheep and/steers. With the money that our club raises it help cover membership fees, event dues, etc.
Pig Pals is a, Jackson County 4-H club, focused on youth development through learning responsibility by raising a pig. They have to pick out a pig, feed, and take care of their animal. Our members also learn and grow by participating in serval other 4-H opportunities like showing their dog, cooking contest, presentation contest, sewing, horticulture, traveling with Interstate Exchange, and so much more. We work to develop citizenship by community service, leadership, responsibility, and learning life skills.
