Our Mission: Community Gleaners' primary purpose is to help people help themselves to meet the needs of their households by the following:Participating in field and urban gleaning, providing food, and other assistance to the low-income, disabled, and elderly in the Albany area. We are a non-profit organization, we are not federally or state funded. We rely on donations and fund-raising. We are managed and run by volunteers.
