Discover Your Forest: NNVM

Discover Your Forest is the nonprofit partner of the Forest Service in Central Oregon. From convening, managing, and training the second largest volunteer force anywhere on our nation’s public lands, to taking an active role in creating the next generation of environmental stewards, Discover Your Forest is dedicated to the discovery of national public lands for all people. We believe that active and engaged stewardship, environmentally literate youth, and phenomenal visitor services are the keys to the future of sustainability and accessibility to our nation’s forests and grasslands. If you are one of the hundreds of thousands who look to the land and waterways for stress management, body movement and soul rejuvenation, we encourage you to give back to the places that give us so much. You can be a friend of the forest by simply recycling your bottles and cans! Each filled bottle drop bag provides much needed funds that support our free public programs, conservation education, and furthering the volunteerism needs of the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forests and Crooked River National Grassland.
