The NW Resiliency Project (NWRP) is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering mental health awareness, breaking stigma, and promoting resiliency. Founded in response to three suicides within the Lakeridge High School Football community, NWRP focuses on parent education, peer support, and athletics. Through monthly seminars, youth-led peer support programs, and specialized seminars for those involved in youth athletics, NWRP empowers the community with resources, education, and a roadmap for enhanced mental health support. The organization conducts resource audits, providing valuable insights for progressive programming. NWRP's vision is to create a resilient community that champions mental health amidst the prevailing crisis.
