Salem Symphonic Winds, previously Salem Concert Band, is a community band formed in 1975. The group is an auditioned adult ensemble with a reputation for innovation and the highest performance standards. Our members volunteer their time for rehearsals and performances and pay annual dues to help offset organizational expenses. We provide exemplary concerts of quality band literature to inspire our members and entertain audiences. The band regularly features world class guest performers and ensembles in works rarely presented by adult bands as well as commissioning several new works by notable composers. We also celebrate the best of traditional band music including regular performances of audience favorites.   Salem Symphonic Winds is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
