Women in Science Portland

Women in Science Portland (WIS PDX) is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and advocating for underrepresented genders in STEM in the Portland area. We aim to provide connection, community, and career development opportunities in an interdisciplinary forum in order to empower, advance, and retain women and gender minorities in all science spaces. WIS PDX provides professional development and community building opportunities through networking events, educational presentations, skill building workshops, scholarships, and other resources to support women and gender minorities at all stages of their STEM careers.
