We advocate for the laws that safeguard the Gorge, care for its land, air, and waters, and work to bring sensitive lands into public ownership. We share the Gorge’s stories and inspire people to protect what they love. And with the support of donors like you, we partner with communities and organizations to preserve the Gorge for generations to come.
The Friends of Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge strive to joyfully connect our community with the wonder of the Refuge. Our mission is to support the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge Complex. We are dedicated to protecting and restoring refuge habitats as well as providing nature education and recreation. We serve the Wapato Lake NWR in Gaston and the Tualatin River NWR in Sherwood. These are your public lands and we are all stewards of these special places.
