Our group is climber led and support Smith Rock State Park by planning and executing the largest climber led park clean up in the US through trail maintenance, litter removal, and invasive species removal. We also organize and reach out to the community to provide education and collaboration about conservation and preservation of our local, state and federal land use.
Based in Portland, Solar for All has installed over 212 kilowatts of solar panels on 53 affordable homes - at no cost to the homeowners - since 2015. We have completed solar projects in Bend, Portland, Medford, Gresham, Hillsboro, Milwaukie, Molalla, Vancouver and Washougal.
We partner with affordable housing providers Rooted Homes (Bend), Proud Ground and Community Vision (Greater Portland area, including Vancouver) and Rogue Valley Habitat for Humanity (Medford).
Our solar installations have saved homeowners over $94,000 in utility bills and avoided over 170 tons of carbon dioxide by producing free power from the sun!
SOLVE is an environmental non-profit, evolving from a grassroots initiative into a national model for volunteer environmental stewardship.
Today, SOLVE mobilizes and trains thousands of volunteers across Oregon and Southwest Washington. Volunteers engage in cleaning and restoring neighborhoods and natural areas, fostering a legacy of environmental care and community involvement.
