Founded in 1978 as Oregon's first and oldest regional land trust, Southern Oregon Land Conservancy's mission is to conserve and enhance the wild and working lands of the Rogue River region to sustain our human and natural communities. For people. For nature. Forever.
Spiral Living Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has served the Illinois Valley of Southern Oregon since 2006. Our mission is to promote sustainable living skills by offering resources for our community to become more self-sufficient. We currently manage the IV Gleaning Project, Earth Scouts!, IV Bikespace, and our on-site Book + Tool Libraries at Frog Farm. Every year, we organize and execute hands-on workshops that focus on permaculture skills, ancestral skills, homesteading, food preservation, alternative energy, natural building, and more.
Students for Environmental Action is a club at Wilson High School that has three major focuses: community garden, political action, and can and bottle recycling. We collect cans and bottles from the school and the funds we earn go towards improving our garden and community.
