The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition is a network of businesses, non-profit organizations, faith communities, educational institutions, local governments and individuals working together to create a sustainable community. Our values include environmental quality, social equity, and economic vitality. Our mission is to promote an ecologically, economically, and socially healthy city and county.
We are dedicated to preserving and protecting West Linn's largest remaining wetland which is being threatened by potential residential development. Our goal is to acquire the property, perform environmental cleanup, and restore the area to a wildlife sanctuary and vital wetlands, which will benefit everyone.
We are an Environmental & Arts organization focused on waste reduction and creative reuse. We rescue ~12,000 lbs of reusable material from the Transfer Station (the 'dump') every year, and distribute it back into the community for a second life at our store, ReClaim It. We also host art shows to showcase artists making art from recycled materials!
