We are a low barrier, nightly homeless shelter in Newberg. We are open 365 days a year from 8pm to 8am. We serve all populations that need temporary shelter. We average around 28 guests a night and all bottle drop donations go towards everyday shelter needs like toiletries, cleaning supplies, and laundry products.
Corvallis Housing First currently operates four facilities that provide housing, case management, and outreach services to those experiencing homelessness. We work to provide low-barrier, behavior-based housing without preconditions and barriers to entry, such as sobriety or treatment participation requirements. Our mission is to provide solutions for ending homelessness and achieving self-sufficiency.
Since 1975, the Council on Aging has been a trusted partner and leader supporting older adults and vulnerable seniors in Central Oregon. Our community relies on us as “the go-to resource” for programs, services, and information.
We provide older adults in the tri-county with food and nutrition options like Meals on Wheels and community dining, Medicare and options counseling, family caregiver support, and social engagement programs, such as Caring Connections and Pet Pals.
