Parkinson’s Resources (PRO) was founded in 1980 when a group of Parkinson’s patients organized the first support group specific to this disease. PRO has grown into a nationally recognized non-profit with the singular focus of improving quality of life for residents living with Parkinson’s by balancing hope for the future with education and services for today. Eleven dedicated staff and 200+ volunteers reach more than 12,000 individuals, families, and allied healthcare professionals by bridging the gap between medical care and wellness.
