RVGS's Mission is to establish, equip, develop and maintain a research library of genealogical materials of historical interest for use by Society members and the general public; to preserve and protect documents of genealogical and historical interest; to inform and educate members and the general public on the value of genealogical research in preserving the past for future generations.
The Rose City Pride Bands is a welcoming space for members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community to forge connections through music.
RCPB includes the Rose City Wind Symphony (a 70 piece symphonic band), Rose City Swing (our 16 piece swing band) and Rose City Pride Marching Band and Colorguard. Our marching band participates in the Portland Pride Parade, and other Pride events throughout the Metro area.
We are currently raising funds for new marching band percussion equipment. We’re thrilled to partner with BottleDrop!
RHS Can Club is recognized club at Roseburg High School. The mission is to find needs in the community and support them financially through can and bottle collection donations.
