SWSC Community Projects is a 501(c)(3) managed by Salem Woman's Service Club in Salem, OR. SWSC is a member of the General Federation of Women's Club (GFWC) and focuses on supporting our local community through several ongoing projects that include: providing Infant and Family bags and other items through Marion County Public Health Nurses and the Teen Parent Program through Chemeketa Community College; providing Comfort Pillows for Breast Cancer patients at Salem Cancer Institute; outreach to residents of a local assisted living center; and supporting victims of Domestic Violence. All funds collected through this program go directly back into the community for these projects.
The DAR, founded in 1890, is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.
The Taft Tiger Boosters promote and facilitate the character and skill development of youth at Taft 7-12 through the support of Athletics and other extracurriculars.
