Fir Grove Elementary's Parent Teacher Organization is a nonprofit organization that funds many activities and events at Fir Grove Elementary, including the Meet Your Teacher Community Social, Boo Hoo/Woo Hoo, Geography Club, Science Expo, Field Trips, Art Literacy, Donuts for Dudes & Donuts for Divas, School Supplies Program, Class Parties, Summer Reading Party, Leveled Book Room – a resource for teachers to use for book groups, Teacher Supplies, and Assemblies.
First Book Portland provides new books to programs serving children in need in Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties building a child's home library and helping them become a reader for life.
