Friends of the Children commits to standing alongside our community's youth as they navigate and overcome barriers to their success. Each child receives one-on-one support & guidance from a salaried, professional mentor, from kindergarten through high school graduation - 12 1/2 years, no matter what.
The Friends of the Cornelius Public Library are dedicated to the learning, aspiration and ambition of our community members.
The Friends have a mission to promote the library, provide funding for special programs and serve as volunteers.
Friends of WVMS is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization formed by WVMS parents and community members. 100% of our proceeds are used to fund supplementary programs such as Fields Trips, Art, Drama, Music, Language, Sports Teams, Tutoring, Extra Nutrition, and more at Westside Village Magnet School. Our goal is to fund additional school program that broaden our students’ educational experiences, promote their well-being,
and inspire them to reach their full potential.
