The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (called IORG, or Rainbow) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, fraternal youth service organization open to all girls between the ages of 11-20. Rainbow provides an environment where girls gain self-confidence and self-respect. Rainbow teaches leadership skills, service to the community, and respect for all. Girls have a chance to achieve and excel, fostering self-esteem in fun and exciting ways.
The Cadet Program of the Civil Air Patrol empowers today’s youth, from ages 12 through 18, to become Leaders of Tomorrow, for our community, state and nation. The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) has three missions: Cadet Programs, Aerospace Education and Emergency Services. All three missions involve and benefit our Cadets. The Cadet Program focusses on Leadership, Character Development, Community Service, STEM, Physical Fitness, Search and Rescue, and Drill. CAP Cadets have opportunities to fly in our CAP aircraft. The CAP also offers opportunities for our Cadets to learn to fly gliders and powered aircraft.
