Creekside Community HS – CommuniCare

The Performing Arts Community Action Class at Creekside Community High School will be granting money to organizations that use the arts as a means of increasing wellness and decreasing suffering in the lives of people in the Portland Metropolitan Area. We believe the arts are a vital way to give space and process difficult events and emotions. The arts should be accessible to anyone regardless of age, gender, sexuality, class or race. We will focus on organizations that advance their mission by using art as a means of serving client needs. We hope to see our community heal, grow, overcome obstacles and connect with others through art as an outlet for transformation.
