Fora Health provides treatment, care and advocacy for all who are affected by substance use disorder. Formerly known as De Paul Treatment Centers, we are one of Oregon’s oldest, largest and most respected non-profit treatment centers providing treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. We take a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction. By providing a full continuum of care services practiced by expert staff, Fora Health empowers our staff and patients to develop personalized care plans that meet each person’s unique, long-term needs and build the relationships and trust that lead to successful treatment outcomes. Forward Stride is a non-profit organization which enhances quality of life through horse-centered activities and therapies. Our innovative programming enables individuals to blossom and work toward independence, whether they are a child affected by autism; a teenager with a severe brain injury; a veteran returning from war facing PTSD; or someone living with a condition or disease that diminishes their confidence or mobility.
Hopewell House is a 12-bed residential care facility in Southwest Portland for people on hospice looking for a home-like place to live their final days to the fullest. Residents have private rooms with outdoor views, and visitors and pets are welcome. Caring for our residents with compassionate presence, our aim is to transform the way we die.
Organizes Hillsdale, Portland neighborhood volunteers trained and authorized by the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management to provide emergency assistance to the Portland Fire & Rescue in times of declared emergencies.
